- Review incoming claim documents to identify appropriate Treaty and/or Facultative retrocessional reinsurance coverage.
- Complete claims analysis and registrations, including, but no limited to, system set-up, processing loss/expense payments and updating loss/expense reserves.
- Prepare and distribute client billing and statement of accounts.
- Collections and cash applications.
- Managing collateral requirements.
- Facilitate the monthly closing process.
- Prepare management and internal reporting requirements.
- Respond to client queries/requests in a timely and considerate manner.
- Handle requests from internal and external audit engagements.
- Test system enhancements and periodic updates.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Good working knowledge of and background in the insurance/reinsurance industries
- A minimum of 3 years in processing claims
- Solid accounting skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi- task and manage deadlines.
- Competency in ProCede, SAP or other claims processing programs
- Attention to detail and high standards of quality.
- Organisational and self-management skills, with the capability to take charge and work independently.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Pro operates a hybrid working model and this role will be working mainly from home, with travel to the Gloucester or Liverpool office on a weekly basis, and other hubs on occasion.
