    Job Title - Quality Assurance Officer SEND

    Salary Band - 9 (£39,186-£39,186)

    FULL TIME

    A vacancy has become available to join the Children's Services Commissioning Team. In the role of Quality and Safety Officer

    You will be responsible for ensuring, through quality and contract monitoring, that the quality of education services provided to and for children and young people with SEND are appropriate, safe and consistent. Ensuring that the terms and conditions of the Council's contracts are being upheld. This will be done by working directly with providers of services to facilitate development, in a way that responds to the needs of children and young people. You will be co-ordinating quality assurance activities, supporting the delivery of learning from collaborative audit findings, and ensuring that the voice of children, young people, their parents and carers is central to how we practice.


    You will have good people skills, have the ability to understand the diverse needs of others, be able to have difficult conversations, and embody the shared values of children's services, placing children and young people at the heart of what we do.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that takes an active role in steering how we develop our practice as an organisation.
