Our Gravity
Max brand is about to open our third site and we have fantastic growth plans
for the coming years ahead. We are the leaders and innovators within the active
entertainment industry, and to help us continue to dominate the market we are
now looking for a Head of Corporate Sales to join the business.
What you'll be doing...
You are a
sales professional; you will know of us as you will work within the industry.
You are a sales professional and an experienced team manager. You live to
maximise sales and you are a natural born networker.
You will
lead your multi-site team
to identify and drive corporate B2B sales, maximising business revenue through building
a strong external business network nationally and regionally. This is a hybrid role requiring office time and time
with BDM's across the Max brand to drive consistencies and sales.
Each of our
Max sites have their own Business Development Managers who you will lead, grow,
develop, and mentor. You will also liaise with our head office support teams
who are here to assist you in delivering you and your teams targets.
We are
looking for someone with experience of the big box leisure venues, and ideally
you will have a balance of experience from wet sales bars as well as leisure
activities such as karting, indoor golf, darts, bowling and VR.
Your main Responsibilities....
·
Lead the Corporate sales team to maximise site
revenue through corporate bookings, following up enquiries in a timely and
effective manner.
·
Lead both Inbound & Outbound processes for the
decentralised Max product supporting sites.
·
Regularly visit the Max sites and the locally
based BDMs to support them in a proactive approach to increasing corporate
sales which is consistent across the Max estate.
·
Identify a corporate sales pipeline and actively
pursue new leads to deliver additional revenue.
·
Utilise existing supplier relationships within
the business to pursue new corporate leads and educate other teams on how they
can support B2B sales actively seeking support from team members within the
business.
·
Work with the Marketing and Sales Director to support
the build of the corporate strategy.
·
Develop a weekly cadence, through either technology
or manual process, to show a clear corporate sales pipeline in-line with the
Gravity Budget, managing to budget, and reporting when off track with proposals
for how this will be addressed.
·
Actively seek feedback from corporate bookings to
provide feedback to the Marketing and Sales and Operations teams on how
corporate packages and customer service can be improved to support future
sales.
·
Attend corporate events where needed to actively
promote the Gravity Max brand and seek new corporate sales.
About you....
·
You will have least 5 years
working within a similar role within another market leading organisation.
·
You have strong
experience within the leisure sector, wet sales, events, and activities.
·
You will have a
proven track record of managing and developing a team below you and
will have a strong desire to create an internal talent pipeline.
·
You will have polished presentation skills and an
aptitude for data to ensure the correct key decisions are made.
· You must be able to work out of all our sites, the role is
hybrid but currently travel will be required to our head office in Wakefield,
our 2 London sites in Wandsworth and Stratford and of course our site in Liverpool.
· You must be up for a challenge, we are a developing and growing
business where we strive to be the leaders in new activities and technologies,
and we want as many different people to experience our offerings as possible.
