As Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end technical solutions, implemented for studio projects.This will involve managing the technical aspects of a project from inception to delivery within both stringent and flexible timelines.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesnTechnical ScopingnInterpret design requirements into detailed engineering plans.nWork with our creative technologists to research and document technical solutions.nOptimise efficiency by productising or repurposing existing project builds, championing previous solutions.nClient technical liaisonnCarry technical relationships with clients across their individual brands and projects.nIdentify engineering requirements from scope changes, without the need for 3rd party availability.nDocument build requirements and assumptions.nConfident in replaying requirements to a clients legal and technical teams.
Development team guidancenCall out engineering timing or capability limitations.nBe the escalation point for internal and external engineers.nPlan and monitor development work according to project timelines.nPrioritise different workstreams to meet business and client objectives.nKeeping abreast of new technologies approaches or industry trends to continually improve best-practice and product qualify.
Skills and ExperiencenCommercially minded with an understanding of costings, engineering time and how it applies to scoping.nFamiliarity of frameworks (TypeScript, React, NextJS etc.), restful API integrations, database requirements, and an understanding of AWS infrastructure environments.nInterpret design requirements into a scope of work containing technical milestones/deliverables.nFamiliarity with data tools such as CRM, CDPs, Permissions Notice solutions and the infosec / security best practices that govern them.
