Snow Mountain, LLC (Drakesbad Guest Ranch, Manzanita Lake, Kohm Yah-mah-neeVisitors Center) are located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen is consumed with gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford sightseeing, fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors Snow Mountain is seeking a General Manager to lead and oversee the operations at Drakesbad Guest Ranch, Manzanita Lake and the Visitor Center. These operations including lodging, gift & souvenir sales, food & beverage, stables and boat rentals as well as on and off-site employee housing This position is year-round, full time with approximately 3 direct reports. The General Manager of Snow Mountain will enjoy:

Leading a talented team of 50-55 dedicated employees who embrace our philosophy of providing an extraordinary hospitality experience to visitors from around the world;
Building relationships with local visitors who enjoy the Park regularly and appreciate its value in the community;
Working closely with a corporate team dedicated to ensuring your success;
Tracking and reporting financial information to Corporate;
Driving the company's environmental focus of wise stewardship of resources and participate in audits to ensure compliance;
Partnering with the Park Service to ensure adherence to contractual obligations;
Coaching, developing and mentoring staff seeking opportunities to grow and develop with the Company

Requirements:

Possess professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work a variety of days, weekends and holidays
Possess financial tracking and reporting skills and adept at creating and managing budgets
Experience with lodging and management of multi units/sites.
Proven leader capable of inspiring and motivating teams
Prior leadership experience in hospitality preferred

Education and Experience:

High school graduate (or equivalent)
Bachelors degree or at least some college preferred
Minimum three (3) years operations or general management experience
Lodging management and/or food and beverage management experience required (at least 2-3 years)

The GM at this park will become part of a strong performing team of leaders and enjoy working in one of the most beautiful locations in the country.
