Are you enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to multitask and solve problems? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Divisional Scheduler.


The role
You will be responsible for providing scheduling for Wessex Water operational teams across multiple workstreams.

When scheduling, key responsibilities will include maximising the efficient use of operational staff's time by creating schedules which will reduce mileage and fuel expenditure.

You will be liaising with Wessex Water operational staff across multiple disciplines to help reduce overdue work.

You will be required to raise work requests to be carried out and prioritised as well as scheduling planned maintenance.


In addition, you may also be required to provide regular updates to our customers ensuring our performance commitments are met.


This role is 40 hours per week, however due to the reactive nature of the work, some flexibility with working hours may be required.

Our core hour scheduling team operate between the hours of 7am to 5pm; however, we also provide out-of-hours cover and therefore overtime opportunities may be available.


What do you need?
We are looking for a team player with multitasking skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues.

Wessex Water prides itself on its customer service so excellent communication skills are vital, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.


We operate within strict Service Level Agreements so the ability to follow procedures and attention to detail underpins everything we do.

An understanding of Wessex Water's operational business would be an advantage but if you have the aptitude and approach to effectively solve problems under pressure, we will ensure you have all the training you need to adapt your skills to the role.
