We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rail Systems Engineer with a proven track record in interface management.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of rail systems engineering, coupled with the ability to manage complex interfaces between various subsystems to ensure seamless integration.
The role involves working on cutting-edge rail projects, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimisation of rail systems.Lead and oversee the interface management process, ensuring effective communication and coordination between different rail subsystems, such as MEP, track, signalling, electrification, rolling stock, and communication systems.
Develop and implement strategies to identify, document, and resolve interface issues during the project lifecycle.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, analyse, and optimise rail systems, including but not limited to MEP, Fire, signalling, train control, electrification, and communication systems.
Work closely with project managers, system architects, and other stakeholders to define interface requirements and specifications.Ensure alignment of interface management activities with project schedules, milestones, and overall objectives.
Identify potential risks related to interface management and develop mitigation plans.
Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Generate reports for project management and stakeholders on interface management progress and challenges.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of rail systems, including signalling, train control, electrification, and communication systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to rail systems.
Project management skills and the ability to work within defined timelines.
