POSITION SUMMARY

Prepare special meals or substitute items
Regulate temperature of cooking equipment
Thaw frozen items in a timely manner
Ensure proper portioning and presentation of food
Maintain detailed food logs
Oversee food quality and quantity
Communicate effectively during busy periods
Coordinate surplus food utilization
Inform staff of menu specials and unavailable items
Adhere to food preparation standards and recipes
Assist with cold food preparation
Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and motivation
Follow company, safety, and security protocols
Maintain personal hygiene and a professional appearance
Anticipate and fulfill guest needs
Communicate clearly and professionally
Foster positive relationships with colleagues
Ensure adherence to quality standards
Perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting
Complete any other duties assigned by supervisors
