- Perform assembly, disassembly, and modification or repair of Ch47 aircraft primary structures and complex aircraft systems.
- Conduct maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and disturbed system functional tests at multiple locations.
- Ensure established process adherence, accurate and timely work recording, and contractual/regulatory compliance.
- Provide mentoring to peers and work under minimal direction
- Extensive experience working on Boeing Ch47 Aircraft and familiarity with Boeing specifications and drawings.
- Experience in working within a team of aircraft technicians.

With a legacy in the UK spanning 40 years, our client maintains the UK's Chinook fleet of 60 helicopters under the Through Life Customer Support (TLCS) contract, the Digital Automatic Flight Control System (DAFCS) upgrade programme, and the Chinook Engine Support Arrangement (CESA).The successful candidates for these positions will be integral members of an MRO modification, servicing, and repair team.
They must have completed a recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent and be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, workbook instructions, and technical manuals.
Candidates must also have knowledge of Ch47 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair, encompassing structural and mechanical system disciplines, as well as general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety, and COSHH).
