Description

MDH Recruitment are working in partnership with our client, a market leader within their industry, who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join them at their growing Grangemouth site.

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department and ensuring the smooth operation of financial activities within the organization.

Responsibilities -

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations based on findings
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Skills/Experience -

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software applications
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
