Technical Designer

Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the technical design requirements for multiple projects
  • CAD creating and publishing designs and fabrication plans
  • CAD creating and publishing installation and assembly guides
  • Support sourcing new products or construction methods
  • Digesting and organise technical information
  • Attending site visits and carrying out measured surveys
  • Meeting / liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Creating bills of materials for projects
  • Compiling rigging orders
  • Providing advice on storage, transportation, and delivery designs
  • Carrying out test rigs, prototypes and assemblies od designs
  • Installing some overnight works providing support for site managers

Key Skills:


  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in Carpentry, Metalwork, or Rigging.

With a design studio, workshops and warehouses in South London, we design, make, and install:
seasonal decorations, placemaking activations, lighting installations, sculptures, and interactive artworks.

Our work includes the Christmas lighting designs for Carnaby Street and Regent Street in London alongside placemaking for Birmingham Commonwealth Games and Qatar World Cup.
