    Smart Repair Technician

    Location: Mercedes Benz Of Chichester

    Hours: full time flexible, 40 hours per week, Alternatively, shift patterns to suit your lifestyle

    Salary: Up to £38,000 Basic plus OTE up to £50,000 (site dependent)

    Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, pension scheme and car scheme

    The role

    As a skilled technician, you will join a team of experts supporting one of our popular brands in our state-of-the-art facilities. Full manufacturer training is provided so there is no need to have specific brand experience. You can expect regular manufacturer specific training to keep you up to date with the latest technology through both manufacturer training and our Marshall Academy.

    Who you are

  • Previous experience as a Smart Repair Technician with technical expertise to work at pace
  • A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
  • Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Tech savvy and confident using iPad software
  • What you'll do

  • Prepare, Spray and finish vehicles to an exemplary high standard in line with internal and customer requirements
  • Ensure correct colour matching on all assigned tasks
  • Ensure all Paint works are completed in an efficient manner in line with the daily schedule
  • Accurately and skilfully undertake cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines
  • Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
  • Detect and report any additional faults for further repair
