Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Tester II to join our team in the Stafford, VA area.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The Tester II designs test scenarios for software usability, runs these tests, and prepares reports on the software's effectiveness and defects for the Production Team.
They identify and log issues that occur during an application's run time and provide regular updates on the issues found, including their causes and possible resolutions.
They document the steps to reproduce defects, associated test data, and other relevant information.
They conduct regression testing to ensure there are no additional bugs or issues caused by the fixes implemented and perform thorough testing by covering all test cases to ensure the application works as intended.
They examine logs carefully to identify issues and conduct a thorough analysis to determine their underlying causes.
The Tester II is a journeyman experienced in designing, running, and reporting the results of applications testing scenarios.
The Tester II takes direction from senior personnel.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline and 4 years of related experience OR;
HS and 8 years of experience OR;
Associates and 6 years of experience OR;
Master's degree and 2 years of experience OR;
PHD Degree and 0 years of experience

Certifications:

Must possess a DoD m approved IAT Level 2 certification

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires a current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
