    Purpose of the Job

    As a Senior Research Executive, you will be responsible for generating Leads for the different Service Lines and conducting research on Competitors to identify their clients and key contacts including any market research as requested by internal stakeholders.

    The Senior Research Executive will be working closely with the Research Manager to deliver on research initiatives and provide timely support to the Sales/BD and Marketing team including other internal stakeholders.

    Main Responsibilities

    Lead Generation & Competitor Targeting:

    • Use various sources including online research, existing company subscribed databases (Preqin and Apollo), company websites and social media to identify potential leads for targeting for all Service Lines and collate key contact information, as per minimum data standards required for data uploads in Salesforce.
    • Identify and collate clients of competitors and key contacts by using industry reports such as Monterey Insights and existing databases, including any other external sources such as public directories, company registries and financial reports.
    • Ability to use lookup functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) to map leads generated (Companies and Contacts) with Salesforce data and Ocorian's client base to provide useful insights to the Sales/BD team as well as to avoid creation of duplicate records in Salesforce before uploads.

    Research & Marketing Support:

    • Work closely with the Research Manager to support research initiatives aligned with Group's priorities.
    • Ability to review List of Attendees for Events and identify Ocorian Clients, Competitors, Regulators, and Intermediaries.
    • Ability to build targeted list of Contacts in Salesforce for Marketing Campaigns across all Service Lines.
    • Create, review, update Accounts and Contacts for Campaigns.
    • Provide ad hoc research support as required.
    • Ability to conduct in depth research of clients and intermediaries using external data sources.

    Salesforce - Data Management:

    • Work closely with the team to identify and correct data errors and inconsistencies to maintain data integrity.
    • Ability to differentiate and update record types (Clients, Prospects, Intermediaries, Competitors) of Accounts and Contacts.
    • Review, update and maintain accurate and complete information on Accounts and Contacts.

    Collaboration and Communications:

    • Collaborate closely with Sales/BD and Marketing team to align lead generation activities with business objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
    • Monitor, review and proactively manage work produced by the team.
    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • The post holder will hold at least a university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • 5 or more years of experience within a professional services environment, preferably in BD/research
    • Self-starter with a proven experience in lead generation, sales, or BD roles.
    • Knowledge and experience of Salesforce or a similar CRM
    • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
    • Excellent skills in and experience of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use lookup functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) and pivot tables to analyse existing and new data, produce visual analysis and generate insights.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • A pro-active approach with the ability and confidence to use own initiative.
    • Detail oriented with strong organisational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
    • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets and goals.
