- Operating in a project-based selling capacity, understanding customers' current and future projects.
- Effectively planning your own diary and movements. Typically, 1 night per week away from home will be required.
- Holding initial technical discussions with Process Engineers, Plant Managers, Mechanical Engineers and, Project Managers gaining their buy-in before progressing to purchasing.
- Working on a sales cycle from 1 month to several years depending on if it's a simple replacement or a new facility being constructed. (most projects are usually 6-12 months).
- Utilising the CRM system to manage and track opportunities. (Currently, over 50 potential opportunities live in the region).
- Securing sales of equipment from £10K to £2m (with most orders under £500K).
- A full UK driving license
