    Description


    Due to recent and planned future expansion, Our Engineering Services Groups are now recruiting engineers and technicians to join the team.

    The role will involve working in our powertrain and vehicle test facilities on a variety of powertrain-related projects.

    As a Powertrain Test Technician, youll be responsible for setting up and installing test powertrains and vehicles, operating powertrain and vehicle test facilities, fabricating and instrumenting test parts, and maintaining a range of powertrain and vehicle test facilities.


    Hours of Work:
    Full Time, Permanent

    We would welcome applications from:
    Experienced Powertrain Test Technicians.
    Existing engineering technicians with transferable skills and with an interest and enthusiasm for the role.

    Powertrain Test Technician Essentials:
    Flexibility to work on a weekly-alternating early/late shift basis (7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm)
    Must be eligible to work in the UK.
    Automotive maintenance
    TIG welding
    Sheet metal fabrication
    Use of machine tools & hand tools
    Electrical / electronics testing/fabrication
    Computer literacy particularly Microsoft Excel
    The role is varied, based on the specific requirements of the test programme.

    Typical day-to-day activities could include:
    Set-up and installation of test powertrains and vehicles
