    Description

    Job Title: Counter Disinformation Consultant. Location: Remote - UK / EU based Job Title: CounterDisinformation Consultant About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Counter-Disinformation Consultant to help our clients develop and implement strategies to mitigate the effects of disinformation campaigns. The successful candidate will analyse disinformation campaigns, develop strategies to combat them, and implement those strategies for our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct a thorough analysis of disinformation campaigns targeted at clients using a variety of technologies, including social media monitoring tools, text analytics, and network analysis.

    Develop strategies to combat disinformation campaigns, including social media campaigns, fact-checking, and counter-messaging.

    Work with clients to implement these strategies, including identifying appropriate channels for communication, crafting messaging, and developing creative materials. Stay up-to-date on the latest disinformation tactics and emerging technologies to ensure that strategies remain effective.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and social media, to ensure that strategies are implemented consistently across all channels.

    Monitor and report on the success of disinformation mitigation strategies to clients, providing regular updates on progress and opportunities for improvement.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as political science, international relations, communications, or marketing.

    Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel, or Google Analytics.

    Familiarity with social media monitoring tools, text analytics, and network analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and deliver presentations to clients.

    Experience developing and implementing successful marketing or communications strategies.

    Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for social justice and commitment to combating disinformation.

    Preferred:

    Master's degree in a relevant field.

    Experience working in the fields of political campaigning, public relations, or marketing.

    Familiarity with online advertising platforms and targeting tools, such as Facebook Ads and Google Ads.

    Experience working with non-profit organisations or government agencies.
