    Description


    We are looking for an Assistant Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our growing PI team, based in our London City Office.

    The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years commercial insurance experience, ideally some experience in the Professional Indemnity sector.

    The following experience/skills are an essential requirement for this role:

    Good people skillsBeing able to absorb information quickly is essentialExcellent organisation and communication skillsGood product and technical knowledge within the UK commercial insurance marketBe self-motivated with the drive and determination to learn and grow within an existing teamBeing a team player as well as be confident to work on your own initiative.


    You will be required to:

    Assist the PI team with their day-to-day dutiesDevelop and manage relationships with both new and existing insurance brokersWork closely with internal staff and team members Package includes: Salary Negotiable25 days holidayImmediate 3% employer pension contributions increasing to 5% after 5 years' serviceHealthcare cover after 3 years' serviceDeath in Service Life cover after 3 years' service About FolgateFolgate Insurance Company Limited has been a recognised and established insurer since 1877.
