#Senior Planner - Leeds
Would you like to join one of the UK's Best Big Companies as awarded by Best Companies? Murphy are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our award-winning Energy team covering Power, Transmission & Distribution projects such as Substations.
Following the 'One Murphy' approach, we're able to deliver all aspects of the projects we work on.
Murphy has designed, constructed, and commissioned projects for clients such as National Grid, SSE and Ørsted, on both transmission and distribution networks within the Energy sector.
Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis.Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
Provide a link between all parties in regard to the planning community information
Liaise with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works.
Provide the estimator with a justified schedule of temporary works and other indirect cost items.
In consultation with Estimator advise project team of required feedback reports and support.
Experience on Civil Engineering and/or Construction projects.
Experience working on HV Energy Transmission and Distribution projects.
Use of planning software (P6, Asta, TILOS, QSRA).
Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques in serving both tendering and contract delivery.
A clear understanding of the commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
