Description
Applicants must hold a valid registration with a governing body who can work to national PGD's (Patient Group Directives) or be a registered nurse or midwife with current full NMC registration.
They must be able to demonstrate a high standard of care, so the immunisation programme is carried out safely, effectively and according to the national policies.
PEIP would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given.Applicants must have good time management and should be an active team player, but also be able to work on their own initiative as lone working will be required.
They need to have an open, friendly manner with excellent communication skills, as they can be dealing with a diverse range of people from all age groups, occasionally resulting in stressful situations.
Applicants must be adaptable and willing to move to another clinic if required.
The post holder should hold a current driving license and own or have access to a vehicle (with business insurance) as work may take place across each locality in community vaccination clinics, home visits, Schools and Nursing homes.
Interviews will take place in June/July 2023
