The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, dedicated, and creative teacher who has a passion for teaching and learning within special needs. Applicants will have to demonstrate that they have excellent classroom practice, the energy and commitment to make a difference, and a desire to ensure that all children reach their full potential. This position involves a class responsibility; year group will be negotiable based on experience. The SENDCo will have dedicated release time giving opportunities to support and mentor colleagues with best practice to support learners vulnerable to underachievement and/or with specific SEND challenges.
