    As an Applied Research Scientist you will take a lead role in this mission, with a focus on the application of deep learning explainability methods to biological models.

    Apply deep learning explainability methods to guide research and uncover new fundamental science, particularly in the domain of DNA/RNA/protein biology.

    Develop new explainability techniques and application methods to achieve scientific objectives.
    PhD in Deep Learning or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
    ~Demonstrated ability to successfully undertake high-quality research, for example through the publication of high impact scientific papers in journals or conferences or successfully commercialised patents.
    ~ Strong interest in biochemistry and awareness of fundamental concepts.
    ~ Ability to write high quality code in Python.
    ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

    Published research in the field of explainable AI.
    Research or commercial experience in biochemistry.
    Experience working in clinical or pharmaceutical contexts.
