    Description

    £40,000-50,000 per annum - Bridgewater day shift

    The Technical Project Engineer holds a crucial role in defining and executing new engineering projects to enhance the manufacturing capability of the Bridgwater site. This individual will lead the way in introducing new machinery, refurbishing major equipment, and implementing automation on the production line.

    As a key member of the Technical Engineering team, the Technical Project Engineer will collaborate with colleagues from various sites, including Bridgwater, and engage with external suppliers to ensure project success.

    Utilizing their expertise in manufacturing and cutting-edge technology, the Technical Project Engineer will shape the site's Engineering Strategy, mentor team members, and contribute to the TSSB business plan.

    Responsibilities include leading the delivery of engineering projects, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing effective engineering concepts, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

    2. Education and experience

    • Candidates must possess a Level 5 qualification or higher in an engineering discipline and have relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.

    · Experience in electro-mechanical machinery solutions, machinery integration, control systems, and automation

    · Knowledge of UK and European machinery regulations and standards

    · Experience in leading successful engineering projects

    · Problem solving skills

    · Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and/or PLC programming

    · Project planning and execution capabilities

    · Effective communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills

    · Ability to make timely and informed decisions

    · IT skills, including MS Office and MS Project

    · Strong technical writing abilities

    · Goal-oriented mindset
