Stickman is a happy, fresh and ambitious company that is on a mission to supercharge pupil numbers and overall growth for schools across the globe.
Holding serious weight at a senior level in the company, the post holder will sit on the Leadership Team and will bring vision, leadership and strategic expertise.
The ideal candidate will work alongside Emily Richards to support Stickman's growth and will have overall responsibility for the Client Services department.
They will have a demonstrable track record in strategic marketing, project management and leading successful teams and will be able to demonstrate pazazz, confidence and creativity to deliver strategic aims.
Key responsibilitiesPart of the Leadership Team, running the Client Services department - taking full responsibility for:Awesome client liaisonTo liaise confidently and independently with our clients, advising them on appropriate marketing/admissions strategies (mainly virtual support, plus on-site visits where appropriate)Building strong relationships (friendships) in a way that 'wows' clients and creates a reliance on us (ultimately supporting Stickman's growth) by going above and beyond in thinking about their needs and nurturing them with 'feel good' initiatives during and outside of project delivery periodsRunning in-person and online workshops and coaching and training sessions with confidence, authority and energy (on a 121 and group basis)Masterminding creative and innovative ways to further create an exceptional client experienceBeing the first point of contact for our clients on project work (where applicable)Superior management and delivery of client projectsTo coordinate and execute training, consultancy and research projects across the Client Services department (school marketing & admissions strategies, key messages development, mystery shops and so on), with the support of a research team and project managerTo coordinate qualitative and quantitative research, analyse and interpret findings and trends and use these to inform key recommendations To map out, a few months ahead, of what needs to happen and when and ensuring this happens To offer 'big picture' thoughts/perspective to our clients To deliver dynamic presentations - to deliver confident, dynamic, creative, energy-filled presentations to clients in a way that inspires them To think innovatively when approaching client projects, drawing upon inspiration from wider big brand examples from the broader marketing world where appropriate To adopt a detail-oriented approach - proofreading client work to ensure it's 100% 'client ready' Leading the Client Services teamTo coordinate client projects and ensure the team (mix of employees and freelancers), as a whole, are providing an exceptional client experience and meeting departmental goalsTo lead with an authoritative, positive and fun approach Reaching and reporting on departmental goals, including financial targets Minimum of £10k revenue from client growth (upsells) per Quarter (Stickman's Financial Year runs 1 July - 30 June)80% of time to be chargeableOwning departmental processes & systemsTo follow company processes client servicing processes and to apply an agile and proactive approach in questioning and refining these continually (always considering 'how might we do this even better?')Additionally:
Supporting the overall direction of Stickman - alongside the Founder, scoping out and driving growthSupporting the sales & marketing team - providing 'proof points' (testimonials, case studies, best practice examples), speaking slots at industry events, contributing a weekly story to social media and so on***Qualifications and experienceMin.
5-10 years marketing consultancy, leadership and project management experience, ideally within a mix of commercial and education environments.Knowledge of the independent school sector would be a bonusWill have a recognised qualification in marketing, PR, digital or affiliated disciplineThe packageCompetitive, full time (Mon-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm), term-time plus 18 days to be worked during the school holidays.
The role is home-based with monthly visits (minimum) to Stickman Towers in Cheshire, UK (postcode WA15 9LP) plus client visits or other business requirements as and when required.
