    About the Role:
    Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets


    The role of a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with students, both in groups and one-on-one, to ensure their progress is on track and to provide them with the support they need to gain self-confidence as they continue their studies.

    Your main role will be to assist students in three primary areas:
    Maths, Science and English, which you will mainly assist them with.

    There will be times when you will be required to assist in subjects that are not core subjects, such as food technology or music, and it is important for you to understand that this is necessary at certain points in your career.

    It is essential that you possess a positive teaching attitude and the patience to be a successful Science Graduate Teaching Assistant.

    Having the confidence to approach you and form relationships with the students is one of the most important aspects of being a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant as well as it gives the students the confidence that they can come to you for help and guidance.
