- Prepare work for estimation by reviewing proposals, plans, specifications, and relevant documents.
- Determine labor, material, and time requirements by examining proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolve discrepancies by gathering and analyzing information.
- Present prepared estimations by organizing and showcasing numerical and descriptive data.
- Create special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain cost database by inputting and backing up data.
- Keep a log of all incoming and outgoing estimates and analyze win/loss rates and reasons.
- Stay updated on technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
- Provide support to the business as needed when requested by Directors or Management.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer-facing skills
