    Overview: Must have SC Clearance Certificate

    We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Azure to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provisioning and configuring Azure resources, managing security and compliance, setting up monitoring and alerting systems, automating operational tasks, and deploying and managing various Azure services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provision and configure Azure resources according to project requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
    • Implement security and compliance measures to protect our cloud environment and adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Set up monitoring and alerting systems to track the health, performance, and security of Azure resources and applications.
    • Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
    • Deploy and manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, etc., to support business needs and objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural standards and guidelines.
    • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for cloud-related issues and incidents, and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
    • Stay up-to-date with Azure services, features, and best practices, and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our cloud infrastructure.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204) preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Azure cloud platform.
    • Strong proficiency in Azure resource provisioning and configuration using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or Azure PowerShell.
    • Experience in implementing security and compliance controls in Azure, including identity and access management, network security, encryption, and data protection.
    • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Azure Log Analytics, etc., and experience in setting up monitoring dashboards and alerts.
    • Proficiency in automation tools and technologies such as Azure Automation, Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, or ARM templates.
    • Hands-on experience with deploying and managing Azure services and solutions in production environments.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
    • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
    • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures and microservices-based applications.
