    Wayman Group is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a talented Head of Spanish to join a prestigious school in Westminster.

    This full-time position will commence in September, and we are seeking an experienced and passionate individual who is dedicated to promoting excellence in Spanish education.

    As the Head of Spanish, you will play a crucial role in leading the Spanish department, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for both students and staff.

    Your expertise and exemplary leadership skills will inspire and motivate students to develop their Spanish language skills and cultural awareness.

    Working closely with a team of dedicated educators, you will have the autonomy to design and implement a comprehensive and engaging Spanish curriculum, ensuring that students have the necessary language proficiency and understanding to succeed in their studies.

    ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and vision for the Spanish departmentOversee and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning in SpanishMentor and support Spanish teachers, fostering their professional growthDevelop and implement initiatives to enhance students' linguistic and cultural competenceOrganize and coordinate extracurricular activities related to Spanish language and cultureCollaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and initiativesStay up-to-date with the latest developments in Spanish education and implement best practicesMonitor and assess student progress and achievements, providing guidance and support when necessaryRequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentSpecialization in Spanish or a related fieldPostgraduate degree in Spanish or Education (desirable)Significant experience teaching Spanish, ideally at a secondary school levelDemonstrated leadership and management skillsPassionate about promoting Spanish language acquisition and cultural awarenessExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilitiesCommitment to ongoing professional development in Spanish educationCompany InformationWayman Group is a renowned recruitment agency specializing in placing qualified educators in prestigious educational institutions.
