    Description

    Job Title: BMS Engineer (Controls Engineer)

    Location: Coventry (mainly), with occasional visits to other sites in Derby, Lincoln, and Kidderminster.

    Schedule: Monday to Friday, with potential on-call duties on a rotational basis (1-6 call out).

    Salary: £50,000 per annum.

    Benefits: Company van included.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) or related field.

    Interview Process: Two-stage interview process.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled BMS Engineer (Controls Engineer) to join our team based primarily in Coventry, with occasional travel to other sites in Derby, Lincoln, and Kidderminster. As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building control systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installation, configuration, and commissioning of BMS equipment and systems.
    • Conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system functionality and efficiency.
    • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with BMS systems.
    • Programming and customizing control strategies to meet client requirements.
    • Providing technical support and training to clients and internal staff.
    • Collaborating with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Participating in on-call rotations to address emergency issues outside of regular business hours.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BMS engineering or a related field.
    • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting various BMS platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation protocols.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Full UK driving license.
