What you'll be doing

We are fast growing team, working on projects across the country. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, value engineered designs that provide real value for money for our clients and serve our nation's current and future needs.

We are privileged to have a team of engineers from various backgrounds and experiences who work together to enhance each other's skills. We believe passionately in the importance of training and knowledge sharing, and aim to create well rounded engineers proficient in all aspects of highway and infrastructure design.

With the start of the Highways England framework and a number of other opportunities we are in exciting times for the Infrastructure Design Team and for BWB.

What you'll bring

• An ability to use our industry standard design software packages Civil 3D (although experience in the use of OpenRoads or PDS would be considered as long as there is a willingness to train on Civil 3D) and Microdrainage
• An understanding of highway design
• A willingness to delegate design responsibility to others and act in a mentoring role to less experienced staff
• Willingness to develop an outward facing capacity as a design team representative in dealings with clients on Technical Matters
• Good communicator, both written and oral, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different circumstances
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels both internally and externally
• A 'self-starter' with drive, positivity and enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed
