    KHR is working with a leadingmanufacturer in the outskirts of Maidstone who is looking for anAssembly Fitter to join their team If you are someone who lovestechnical and physically demanding roles, then this is the role foryou


    Duties include:

    • To fit andassemble fabricated parts or subassemblies
    • To be ableto set up hydraulic & electrical systems including pressuretesting
    • To install hydraulic & pneumatic pipes andlines
    • To install valves, pumps, and motors
    • To complete electrical tasks such as laying, connecting, andsecuring wiring looms
    • To complete fault diagnosis andensure basic checks are complete on all electronicinstalls
    • To be able to dismantle faulty assemblies andrepair or replace defective parts
    • To be able to use andadapt to air tools or socket sets
    • To be able to liftand set large and awkward components
    • To provide supportwith design/development tasks through the use of Engineer changenotes/BOM variance

    Candidateprofile:

    • Served technical apprenticeship or equivalenttraining
    • Good technical knowledge of the products, witha willingness to undertake training
    • Good communicationskills
    • Team player
    • Excellent attention todetail
    • Must be physically fit and cope with standingfor long periods
