About us

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe working environment for all staff, reporting any safety concerns to the Supervisors / Managers.
Operating and maintaining in good order any equipment used in the production within the limit of trained capabilities, reporting any operational defects and remedial repairs immediately.
Maintaining and completing all required documentation as per BRC accreditation standards and retailers COP in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensuring full adherence to GMP/SOP so that areas of control and responsibility are always 'audit ready' by adhering to company hygiene and HACCP standards, ensuring allergen protocols are always maintained.
Must work closely with the Supervisors and technical department to ensure the highest quality, integrity and food safety are achieved.
To ensure that all goods are packed correctly to avoid damage and to ensure that all packaging is labelled correctly.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

A minimum of 1 years' experience working in a similar role in a similar environment.
Possessing a good degree of numeracy and literacy (English language).
Excellent attention to detail.
Computer literate to at least basic level
A team player who fully cooperates with others to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational areas affected by own work.
Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to other functional areas within the business.
Able to complete all requisite documentation legibly and accurately.
A basic understanding of allergen control and segregation requirements.
A basic understanding of HACCP principles.
Trained in Basic Food Hygiene.
Trained in Manual Handling operations.
A 'safetyfirst' mentality.

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

Able to work under pressure without letting standards slip below the minimum requirements.
Flexible in approach to meet changing demands without compromising operational efficiency.
Able to work effectively and safely with mínimal supervision.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, / Rotating weekly
