    Description
    Aubay is seeking a versatile UX/UI Developer with a keen eye for UX/UI design to join our client's team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, pragmatic, and thrives in a dynamic environment. They should excel in communication, collaborating with business users to refine requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

    With a solid foundation in front-end technologies and extensive UI/UX experience, they will drive the design and development of responsive interfaces across various devices.

    Proficiency in cloud-native infrastructure, SDLC methodologies, and security practices is essential. Additionally, familiarity with the energy industry and trading environments is advantageous.

    Required Skills and Experience

    UI/UX Experience:
    More than 3 years of experience in UI/UX with proficiency in interaction design techniques.

    Prototyping Skills:
    Demonstrated ability to create UI mock-ups and prototypes.
    Front-end Technologies: Over 5 years of experience with front-end web technologies, including React and HTML5.

    Responsive Design:
    Experience in designing user interfaces for various devices, ensuring seamless accessibility.

    Web Standards Knowledge:
    Familiarity with best practices in web standards and usability.
    Real-time UI Updates:Understanding of responsive UI design and real-time processing techniques such as SignalR/WebSockets.

    Technical Collaboration:
    Well-rounded technical understanding to collaborate effectively on technical specifications.

    Cloud Native Experience:
    Hands-on experience with Azure cloud native infrastructure, including API & web applications, serverless functions, and storage solutions.

    Design Documentation:
    Proficiency in planning, documenting, and communicating design processes and concepts clearly and concisely.

    SDLC Exposure:

    Comprehensive exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD deployments (preferably with YAML pipelines), and work planning/tracking with Azure Boards.


    Security Awareness:
    Experience with enterprise static analysis and security tools like SonarQube/WhiteSource/Blackduck to ensure robust security practices.

    Code Review Participation:
    Active involvement in code reviews and Pull Request processes, offering valuable feedback and guidance to enhance code quality.
    Personal Attributes
    Adapts to change, versatile and pragmatic.
    Aware of and adopts corporate/client best practices/development standards as required.
    Comfortable talking to business users to clarify user stories and co-create solutions.
    Keeps up-to-date knowledge with recent IT software developments (open source and cloud in particular).
    Uses initiative and owns delivery of those backlog items that was agreed at sprint planning.
    Brings ideas to the table, is inquisitive and excited by new technology.
    Proactively communicates and shares understanding and experience within a team.
    Used to working in a flexible, independent manner on a mixture of small unstructured and large structured items.

    Energy Industry Experience:
    Previous experience in the energy sector.

    Trading Environment Familiarity:
    Exposure to working within a trading environment.
    Role Responsibilities
    Lead the design and development of user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across different devices.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine user stories, clarify requirements, and co-create effective solutions.

    Utilize expertise in React and HTML5 to implement front-end web technologies and bring UI mock-ups and prototypes to life.

    Work hands-on with Azure cloud-native infrastructure, including API & web applications, serverless functions, and storage solutions.
    Plan, document, and communicate design processes and concepts clearly and concisely for effective collaboration and understanding.
