- The Role:
- Develop methods to analyze and purify various small molecules, including drug metabolites and API impurities.
- Interpret chromatographic and spectroscopic data, and present project work.
- Mentor and train lab team members.
- Maintain and oversee the operation of purification equipment.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the laboratory facility.
- The position is based at our Milton Park premises in Abingdon, full-time on site.
- Who We Are Seeking:
- We are looking for a proactive purification chemist with extensive experience and a hands-on approach to purification and analytical techniques using modern instruments.
- Desirable skills include NMR data interpretation, experience with mass-directed preparative HPLC, and LC equipment maintenance.
- The ideal candidate should be proactive, adept at handling technical challenges, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel, is essential, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
