Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school based in Salford that are seeking a compassionate behaviour mentor to join the support provisions in place at the school.

  • Friday, 08:30am 15:30pm, Term Time only

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, staff & parents.

Demonstrate a motivation, passion, resilience, and the ability to emotionally support hard to each young people from all walks of life.

Location:Salford, Greater Manchester.

Salary:
£1,350-£1,600 per month.

Roles and responsibilities:


  • To be responsible for maintaining a calm and purposeful learning environment.
  • To develop links with external agencies to set up a wide range of different behaviour intervention programmes.
  • To develop strategies which aim to develop pupils' mental wellbeing where relevant with behaviour concerns
  • To support the consistent implementation of the school Behaviour for Learning policy.
  • To be responsible for the calm and purposeful entrance and exit of pupils into/out of the school, this to include organising lineups where appropriate, ensuring that pupils enter the building in full school uniform and if not, following the agreed procedures
  • To work with the other members of the behaviour team as a unit to achieve the vision for outstanding behaviour.
  • To follow through any issues to do with behaviour as required by the school Leadership Team, for example, taking pupils statements regarding incidents and passing these on to relevant colleagues.

Salary:
£1,350.00-£1,600.00 per month
