Description

Our well established client base in the Boston area are looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a fulltime permanent basis.

Our client is going through a significant period of growth and are looking to strengthen the Finance function fo the business.

The role will involve the day-to-day management of the finance function (although you report to the FD).

Job Role:
-• Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly accounts and commentary, highlighting progress against Business Plan and KPIs and make financial recommendations

Analyse and report relevant financial and commercial information to support business decision-making
Support board decision-making through monthly analysis of budget and forecast variances and reporting against business plan
Support company financial strategy and decision making by identifying opportunities for greater operational efficiencies and margin improvements, risk assessment and mitigation and tracking business performance against that of competitors
Manage cash and working capital, supported by appropriate cash flow forecasts
Ensure all financial systems and processes are robust, fit for purpose and minimise the opportunity for fraud.
Lead, manage, mentor and motivate a small finance team, with emphasis on personal development and training
