    What will you be doing?

    This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting,growing team but with the backing of a much larger and more establishedbusiness.

    Within Baringa's Data, Analytics & AI practice we deliver threeoutcomes for our clients:
    We help our clients organise and control data. Weturn data into insight. We help embed AI into our clients' businesses.
    You will be using your experience to help our clientssolve their most important data challenges.

    You would be also responsible to support the growth of our team, helpingthem to build the skills they need to solve our client's challenges.

    Depending onthe level, you can be a part of our leadership team, shaping the direction ofthe practice, growing the business and leading our people.

    Define and implement on premise and cloud architectures.

    Examples of these architectures could be to implement a cloud data warehouse, data lake or a data platform to enable digital transformation.

    Perform maturity assessments across our clients' data capabilities and recommend changes to improve their capabilities.
    Define and implement end to end data architecture including data pipelines and data models
    Help our clients transition to modern cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and to leverage related architecture patterns (e.g., APIs, events)
    Work with our clients in more traditional areas of data engineering such as, data warehousing, building operational ETL/ELT data pipelines across a number of sources, and constructing relational and dimensional data models
    So, what are we looking for?

    We recruit individuals at all levels based on merit, if you can demonstrate some of the skills we are after we would love to hear from you.

    Some of the key sills we are looking for:

    We're looking for experienced consultants (or those with consulting skills gained in industry) who can both advise our clients and, when needed, get hands on in bringing a solution to life.

    You have experience in hands on data engineering, solution design, architecture and related advisory work
    You understand how to architect modern data solutions that are robust and scalable
    You have expertise in data architecture with an understanding of how to design and build data pipelines
    You have worked on big data platforms either on premises or on cloud
    You have experience in using cloud technologies as both infrastructure and as a service
    You have knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines
    You have knowledge of different technology stacks including common legacy and modern stacks
    Competent in at least one modern programming language, such a Python
    You hold at least a bachelor's degree, in any discipline. A master's degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineer or another STEM discipline) would be helpful but is not essential for success
