- Undertake planned preventative/reactive/corrective maintenance, prioritizing asset performance and operational needs. Implement necessary repairs to out-of-service assets or enhance underperforming ones based on feedback requirements.
- Execute tasks demanding comprehensive technical expertise in electrical/mechanical/hydraulic system engineering pertaining to vehicles and equipment.
- Utilize GAL I.T. – Work Management Systems (e.g., Ultimo) as necessary. Manage work orders efficiently, ensure accurate data entry, and leverage system data to drive individual and asset efficiency.
- Keep all engineering and operational records updated to adhere to business, regulatory, and manufacturer standards.
- Advanced modern apprenticeship (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or equivalent (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) or comparable certification.
- Technical background in a vehicle maintenance setting
- Valid UK driver's license
- Strong communication abilities
- Exceptional time management expertise
- Proficient IT skills encompassing Microsoft Office and CMMS
- PSV / HGV License (Preferred)
