- Ensure all engineering and operational records are updated to meet business, regulatory, and manufacturer requirements.
- Pro-actively undertake and support performance improvement activities/programs.
- Take responsibility for safety, including others as part of a legal responsibility such as the wearing of PPE, completing mandatory training, and the reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Using GAL IT systems (Ultimo, MyHub, P2W, Microsoft Office) as required.
- Developing skills and knowledge to maintain and operate existing and new assets to ensure they are maintained in a manner which keeps them performing at a required level.
- Undertake role-specific training required for the role.
- Understanding and proven experience in a relevant engineering discipline
- Able to carry out system performance improvements

You will work a shift pattern across all days of the week including bank & public holidays.As part of our 'Grow with Gatwick' initiative, you'll be provided with plenty of training and support to ensure you're developing and growing your career.
The Engineering team deliver what matters.This role is critical in supporting a diverse range of assets and complex systems, with key assets including:
# CCTV
# Pumping Stations and associated water infrastructure
# Water quality analyzers
# Water treatment plant, and the associated infrastructure serving our ponds, lagoons, and waterways
Undertake planned preventative/corrective maintenance, mindful of asset performance and operational requirements.
