    Data Scientist II (Analytics)

    As a Data Scientist on Expedia's Search Engine Marketing team you will support the growth marketing organization to execute on initiatives, by leveraging data and implementing business processes.

    It's essential for you to be comfortable working with complex data and be able to effectively communicate actionable findings.

    You must thrive in environments where complex data is the norm, navigate through ambiguity, and work in an environment where you partner with multiple stakeholders to achieve success.

    Key responsibilities include owning data and reporting pipelines, audience pertinent initiatives, actions, analysis, and charting out the vision of the path forward.

    Working with partners, marketing managers and internal teams, Data Scientists ensure data integrity and develop actionable reporting and recommendations.

    You will manage a multi-million dollar portfolio to help Expedia Group attain its audience pertinent initiatives through growth marketing channels.

    Drive smarter data-driven actionable insights on how to optimize business and be comfortable doing tear-downs to rethink business executions
    with a specific on bidding and evolving data structures
    Manage internal relationships with key technical support teams to execute on business
    Present findings and insights to leadership teams, effectively communicating complex analyses in a clear and concise manner.
    Bachelor's degree; At least 3 years of work experience
    Strong desire to understand online, offline, and mobile marketing from campaign execution to supporting infrastructure
    Demonstrated experience in AB testing, modeling, analysis and research and coding
    Must be able to code in SQL, advanced excel know-how, and familiarity with Python

    Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
