Operations and Digital Support Role - What is involved?


Providing support to the 3 Operations Leaders for the P&C Specialties business who focus on Commercial, Digital and Technical operations on a wide range of business as usual and project initiatives.

Projects will range across innovation, efficiency, operational strategy, technology and analytical initiatives.


The focus of the various projects and initiatives will flex throughout the year so this will be a varied workload between commercial, digital and technical projects.

What are the typical responsibilities?

  • Supporting on key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, including gathering data for dashboards and preparing reports for the Operations Leaders on business unit performance
  • Arranging training events for the P&C Specialties teams, including Salesforce training
  • Project support and management of some project elements, including coordinating project deliverables and progress reporting
  • Arranging project meetings including setting the agenda, preparing required materials, providing project updates and preparing meeting notes and follow ups
  • Providing organisational support to the Operations Leaders as required
What skills and experience would we like you to have?

  • Proven experience of working in an operations or project support type role will be highly beneficial
  • Previous experience of working in the Insurance industry, ideally within the Lloyd's / London Market
  • Keen interest in digital strategy and centralization of data type projects will be beneficial
  • Experience of working in a project type environment, managing a varied delivery focused workload will be beneficial.
  • Experience of using salesforce and/or PowerBI for reporting will be beneficial
  • Able to work in a logical, methodical, delivery focused way will be beneficial
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
