Description
The role involves conducting quarterly reviews of reserves, setting actuarial assumptions and methods for reporting standards, conducting portfolio analysis, leading discussions to improve underwriting results, and timely communication of findings.
Collaborating with Pricing Actuaries and Underwriters, enhancing analysis and outputs, and providing quantitative inputs to risk assessments are key responsibilities.
Additionally, supporting regulatory reporting, developing and controlling model inputs, and contributing to the enhancement of reserving and capital modelling tool.
The role also includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and actively participating in the wider actuarial team's evolution
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, along with 3-6 years of relevant experience and pre-qualification or qualification.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in specialty, commercial, and/or reinsurance sectors, as well as demonstrated proficiency in reserving and risk analytics.
