    About the Nursing Home:

    Built to a new design concept, this nursing home offers superior accommodation on two floors; It can accommodate 44 residents across 4 purpose-built wings of 11 rooms and has the additional benefit of 2 unique specialist units for younger adults.

    Being situated in the heart of Dunfermline, the home has excellent transport links to gain access across Fife and the Lothians.

    The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
    • Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
    • Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
    • Creating individualised care plans for residents.
    • Updating care plans daily.
    • Safely administering and recording of medication.
    • Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
    • Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
    • Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
    • Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
    Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) role:
    • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
    • Active PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
    • Clear DBS.
