    Description

    Are you looking for a part time job that fits in with your own childcare commitments? Do you have experience of Baby and Toddler stay and play sessions and Parent and Toddler groups and would you like to share good practice, support and advice with groups in Milton Keynes.     Main duties:
    • To keep up to date a database of all Baby and Toddler groups across Milton Keynes.
    • To establish contact with group leaders.
    • To promote the Baby and Toddler toolkit.
    • To promote Alliance membership, membership benefits, training and publications.
    • Deliver high quality early years activities as directed.

    Essential criteria:

    • Possess a childcare qualification at Level 3 or above, or other relevant qualification.
    • The ability to work in a team and under own initiative.
    • Good IT skills:the skills and a bility to use Microsoft Office programmes including Word and Outlook .
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), child development and how young children learn through play, talk and discovery, both indoors and outdoors.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of EYFS welfare requirements to provide a safe, stimulating learning environment, appropriate to all the ages and stages of the children attending.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of children and families from a range of cultures, lifestyles and circumstances, and with and without additional needs, to ensure children feel valued and respected for who they are.
    Hours per week: 10 Weeks per year: 39 Interview date: Wednesday 27th September 2023 This is a Fixed Term Post until July 2025 All successful applicants will be required to register and subscribe with the DBS Update Service (if you have not already done so) and undertake a new enhanced disclosure and barring check (even if you have an existing DBS Certificate).
