You will need p revious experience within a similar role handling a full case load of pre-litigated and litigated recovery matters.
Advocacy experience is essential.The ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving is desirable.
You will be asked to competently deal with a case load of predominantly litigated, recovery files within our case management system, as well as assisting our Head of Recoveries with reviewing evidence, drafting correspondence and court documents.
Ensuring that clients are confident that their legal affairs are dealt with in a professional and competent manner, and to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
You will be asked to carry out Advocacy at procedural hearings, debates and proofs.You will be working alongside three recognised Law Society of Scotland Specialists in Personal Injury Law whose experience includes a number of significant cases, such as appeals to the House of Lords concerning limitation in abuse cases and to the Inner House of the Court of Session regarding the applicability of workplace regulations.
