    As a Barclays Senior Test Engineer Permissions, you will support in accelerating a digital platform capability, transforming and modernising our digital estate to build a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its heart.

    We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours).

    Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

    Applying automation and modern test methods across the engineering lifecycle to increase coverage and quality and reduce manual effort
    Coaching, collaborating and facilitating colleagues and engineers to apply tests across the platform, following agile software development principles
    Engaging with partners across the bank and drive adoption of high-quality testing regimens to test and validate digital journeys innovation using the platform's Permissions capabilities
    Demonstrating hands-on leadership in testing approaches and adoption to both the team and the wider tech community
    Experience of testing across the full development, implementation and operational lifecycle with appropriate corresponding methodologies such as TDD, BDD, SBE, ATDD
    Ability to test across UI, API and Data Integrations layer and connectors
    Demonstrable experience and knowledge in fault finding, root cause analysis, and participation in remediation implementation
    Skills that will help you in the role:
    Test tooling experience, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, BrowserStack, JUnit, Jmeter, Gremlin, Moquito
    Experience with securing testing tools and Penetration testing, Nessus
