    Description

    Astute's Renewable Energy team is partnering with an established circular economy company, with over 10 years of experience in anaerobic digestion, who are currently looking for an Operations Technician to work operate their facility near Girvan.


    The Operations Technician / Plant Operator / Shift Operator Technician role comes with an excellent salary, pension, life assurance, health insurance and enhanced maternity and paternity pay (after successful completion of probation), eyecare voucher scheme, bike to work scheme as well as ongoing training and development.

    Be responsible for carrying maintenance routines, planned inspections and testing.
    Operate the facility on a day-to-day basis.
    Feeding the facility using mobile plant.
    Maintain the correct operational performance of the plant.
    HNC/ HND/ Degree in Engineering Practice/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
    IOSH/ECITB/Telehandler/Forklift training (Desirable).
    Valid driving licence.

    The Shift Operations Technician role would suit someone who is:

    Previous experience working in a similar environment such as plant/industrial.
    Experience maintaining, calibrating, and commissioning process instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature measurement) is preferred.
