    Join Our Team:

    At DNV, we are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to be part of our Fixed and Floating Structures Team, working within the Risk Advisory Department. In this role, you will work on various offshore projects related to the energy sector, encompassing both renewable sources and traditional Oil & Gas assets.

    By joining us, you will have the opportunity to manage and deliver global projects, enhance your skills, and deepen your knowledge of the Energy industry. You will be involved in providing innovative solutions to complex challenges, focusing on structural analysis of both fixed and floating structures, which includes strength, fatigue, impact, extreme wave analysis, and detailed FEA of components.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work as the technical lead on projects, performing a range of structural analyses including strength, fatigue, pushover, and detailed FEA
    • Support the Team Lead in developing and expanding our business, preparing tenders and proposals, and negotiating commercial terms
    • Mentor junior team members and oversee project management activities, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met
    • Collaborate with our business development team, contributing to winning new business, developing proposals, and fostering relationships with clients
    • Engage in high-profile global engineering projects for leading industry organizations

    • Degree in Civil, Structural, Offshore, or Mechanical Engineering
    • Experience in engineering consultancy, preferably in offshore structures, offshore wind, or oil and gas
    • Knowledge of structural analysis and relevant software like DNV SESAM/USFOS and Abaqus
    • Strong organisational and project management skills
    • Ability to win new business, develop proposals, and build professional relationships
    • Proactive mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
