- Carrying out routine PM programmes which have been accepted as PM Dept.'s responsibility through liaison with Departmental Supervisors
- Carryingout emergency repairs to plant and equipment as a priority
- Some general machining, fitting and design
- Maintaining an adequate . stores and records of . work carried outwithin the Company's CMMS
- Communicate all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor

- All round hands-on practical experience/skill and success in production machinery maintenance, preferably in cold forging/fastener environment but at least with heavy industrial equipment
- A comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems is also necessary
- Fault detecting/repairs to mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic machinery and equipment
- Sheet metal work/welding preferred
- Reading Engineering drawings & Technical drawings

- Technically intuitive- Ability to learn new systems quickly
