    Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

    Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance misuse issues within the community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with substance misuse problems.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
    • Provide evidence-based interventions and treatments.
    • Offer health education and advice to clients and their families.
    • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in the planning and delivery of community outreach programs.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

    Requirements:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration.
    • Experience in substance misuse or a related field is desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
